Instagram DMs Setup
Connect your Instagram account to Tedro to receive and respond to direct messages from a single workspace. Instagram DMs connect through the same Meta OAuth flow used by WhatsApp and Messenger.Prerequisites
Before connecting Instagram, make sure you have:- An Instagram Business or Creator account (not a personal account)
- A Facebook Page connected to your Instagram account (required by Meta’s API)
- A Meta Business Account (business.facebook.com)
- A Tedro workspace with Admin role
To switch your Instagram account to a Business or Creator account, go to Settings > Account > Switch to professional account in the Instagram app.

Instagram DM automation requires Meta App Review approval for production use. During development, you can test with accounts that have a role on your Meta App. See Meta’s documentation for the App Review submission process.
